Once the active ingredient evaporates, which will occur within :30 seconds, what is left is an organic polymer that is safe and not harmful. The polymer consists of hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon, and breaks down into CO2 and H2O so it is organic. That means it contains no toxic substances like GMOs, toxins, hormones, pesticides, and antibiotics.
Steri-DVM is not only safe for animals that may lick a wound, but it can be easily and safely reapplied multiple times. It will not adhere to wounds or disturb new growth tissue. It has no adverse effects or allergens. It is biodegradable and non-toxic.
